New sightings of Hibagon in Japan

While government officials remain mum, reports are surfacing that Japan's version of Bigfoot, the ape-like creature called "Hibagon," has been sighted in various areas of Northern Hiroshima.  Witnesses speculate the appearances have been triggered by the nuclear crisis in the wake of last month's devastating earthquake and tsunami.  For background on the beast, go here.

Voodoo Ritual Sentencing

We've been following the case of the family in Queens that attempted a do-it-yourself voodoo exorcism to cast demons out of a six-year-old child who survived the ordeal but was badly burned. The first verdict was handed down today, with the child's grandmother Sylvenie Thessier (71) receiving a three-year term for "reckless endangerment."
